This is one of two drawings for the oil painting "Jerusalem Elder". An elderly man sitting by the window appearing to look outside. It is as if the light is coming from the window and the elderly man is positioned against the light so that he appears darker.
Painting and photography were always part of my being. it is time now to present and publish my art. Born in Germany, growing up in Israel, and living in the US exposed me to a variety of cultures and ides that are translated into a visual form. My first painting mentor was Gershon Knispel in Haifa, Israel, then Michael Irmer in Duesseldorf. I am interested in exploring new challenges.
