This oil painting was done after my release from the military service in 1989. The earth tones and silhouettes are the state of mind and spirit I was at that time. This is also a homage to my friend and mentor from Düsseldorf, Michael Irmer.
Painting and photography were always part of my being. it is time now to present and publish my art. Born in Germany, growing up in Israel, and living in the US exposed me to a variety of cultures and ides that are translated into a visual form. My first painting mentor was Gershon Knispel in Haifa, Israel, then Michael Irmer in Duesseldorf. I am interested in exploring new challenges.
