Artist's Description
This pigments and binder drawing on paper was mad in 1985 in Düsseldorf as part of a creative process dealing with wrapping my life sized clay/metal/wood statues so they will not crack. The tension and opacity of the wrapping material on the figures became a series of drawings, oil paintings and photographs. The process of painting these was almost always accompanied by Gregorian chanting tapes I got from my friend and mentor Micheal Irmer.
About David Euler

Painting and photography were always part of my being. it is time now to present and publish my art. Born in Germany, growing up in Israel, and living in the US exposed me to a variety of cultures and ides that are translated into a visual form. My first painting mentor was Gershon Knispel in Haifa, Israel, then Michael Irmer in Duesseldorf. I am interested in exploring new challenges.
