Artist's Description
A thin male figure sits on his knees opposite a fuller female figure sitting on the floor. The two figures are positioned within a dark square space whereby they are illuminated. The lower part of the two is colored in a darker earth-pigment red to allow a feeling of warmth. This is one drawing from a series that deals with the space and energy between humans in relationship to their posture. Here the erect, slightly bent forward position of the male is in contrast to the more relaxed and grounded female figure.
About David Euler

Painting and photography were always part of my being. it is time now to present and publish my art. Born in Germany, growing up in Israel, and living in the US exposed me to a variety of cultures and ides that are translated into a visual form. My first painting mentor was Gershon Knispel in Haifa, Israel, then Michael Irmer in Duesseldorf. I am interested in exploring new challenges.
