This is a portrait of a boy curiously, yet at awe, looking upwards (maybe) towards a person, an occurrence, or an object. . This Acrylic painting is on DryWall, varnished with a semigloss Acrylic resin.
This portrait was painted with a graffiti wall behind it shielded by a light screen, as if to protect the child from the real world outside.

The three layers (graffiti, screen, and portrait) give the painting a sense of depth needed to tell a story.The graffiti look of this painting is a reference to our trips to Europe where we collected photos of street art.
About David Euler
Painting and photography were always part of my being. it is time now to present and publish my art. Born in Germany, growing up in Israel, and living in the US exposed me to a variety of cultures and ides that are translated into a visual form. My first painting mentor was Gershon Knispel in Haifa, Israel, then Michael Irmer in Duesseldorf. I am interested in exploring new challenges.
