Artist's Description
This is one of a series of paintings on paper experimenting with the caged space. Here with the use of pigments and binder, Chalk coal and white chalk I attempted to create a cage-like space on a soft background.
About David Euler
Painting and photography were always part of my being. it is time now to present and publish my art. Born in Germany, growing up in Israel, and living in the US exposed me to a variety of cultures and ides that are translated into a visual form. My first painting mentor was Gershon Knispel in Haifa, Israel, then Michael Irmer in Duesseldorf. I am interested in exploring new challenges.
